Buses

I never find the need to hop on a local service bus anymore, but for a time there I was needing to use public transport.  There is this Inverness mentality that the old people run Stagecoach and if you are below the age of, say 38 years, you should expect to stand for the duration of the journey and/or be ready to accept dark glares.  Even if you are a younger person and vacate your seat for the old when the need arises you should be ready to accept no thanks or appreciation from said ‘oldster’ and just get on with it, bearing in mind you should still remember your own manners, OR ELSE!!

What do you think about this?  Should old people give up their seats for young people?  Let’s get ridiculous…
