Here we go then guys, the first post on a blog which looks to begin some big arguments, slagfests and eye-gouging. Some people might debate that it would be a better idea to start a forum, but I say ‘no’ to this idea, I shake my dirty skinny finger at this thought.

I love the Higlands – is Inverness the heart of it all or does it have no pulse at all?

Susan, it’s great to hear of your fondness for the Highlands. Personally, I like to think of Inverness as not the heart but the bowels of the Highlands. Dirty great bowels.
